As a parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral in Austin, Texas, I experience this edification regularly. The stunning stained glass windows, ornate statues, starry ceilings, and painted verses never grow old. I believe this is because beautiful art aims to renew the mind and heart. I am a visual artist at heart. I feel most alive designing digital graphics or at the easel. Currently, I am a freelance graphic designer based in Austin, Texas. Each month, I design a parish magazine using Indesign for Decided Excellence Catholic Media. I also create branding and marketing materials for pregnancy centers across the U.S. with the nonprofit organization, Stories Marketing. Last summer, I had gained professional experience while interning at FOCUS as a graphic designer. This past December, I graduated from Texas State University with a bachelors degree in Digital Media Innovation and a minor in Business Administration. While I enjoyed developing skills in many areas of content creation during college, I focused most on graphic design and web design. One project I loved was coding a website about my small business. On the website, I share about my process and passion for selling faith-based products featuring my art. In my free-time, I enjoy painting, spending time in nature with friends and family, reading, filming youtube videos, and loving life as a Texan. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
